One of APN's biggest endeavors is to actively support humane reduction of stray cat populations throughout central Ohio through TNVR.
APN is involved with ongoing trap/neuter/vaccinate/return (TNVR) projects in several central Ohio communities. While we understand this need greatly outweighs resources for any one organization, we strive to build networks with other organizations to meet these needs and to take action as quickly as possible in communities and colonies that need it most.
This work could not be done without caring members of the community like YOU alerting us to cat colonies, learning how to TNVR, assisting with trapping, transporting, post-surgical recovery holding, fostering friendly community cats, and fundraising. APN recognizes the major burden kind-hearted individuals in the community take on to help homeless cats in their community, and we aim to continue strengthening our support of these community-led TNVR efforts.
Since APN's establishment, we have assisted thousands of feral and stray friendly cats to receive spay/neuter, vaccination, and other veterinary services. We have assisted hundreds of those in finding foster or adoptive homes.
Thanks to our new partnership with Pawlytics animal rescue software, we are working to report numbers on our community cat impact to supporters like you. We are extremely proud of the work we have done and continue to do and believe sharing this with you can help us spread awareness of the cat overpopulation crisis, help us strengthen our network, and inform strategies for our path forward.
